Now that spring has finally taken hold, Ohio’s wildflowers are finally starting to make their presence known. Join the experienced naturalists of the Wahkeena Nature Preserve this Sunday on a guided hike and explore the beauty, folklore and medicinal uses of our native wildflowers. You’ll walk at a leisurely pace and will make frequent stops to admire the violets, trillium, orchids and other native species that abound at the preserve. This educational program will last about 90 minutes and is perfect for people aged 12 and older.
